Sales Cloud Is Now Agentforce Sales: The Big Salesforce Rebrand in Summer '26

Salesforce renamed its core clouds under the Agentforce brand in Summer '26. Here's the full rebrand map — Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce, Data Cloud — and what it actually means for your org.

If you opened your org after the Summer '26 release and did a double-take at the product names, you're not imagining it. Salesforce has rebranded most of its flagship clouds under a single banner: Agentforce.

This isn't just marketing paint. It's Salesforce signaling that AI agents are now a first-class part of every product, not a bolt-on. Here's exactly what changed, why it happened, and what you actually need to do about it.

The rebrand map at a glance

  • Sales Cloud — Agentforce Sales
  • Service Cloud — Agentforce Service
  • Commerce — Agentforce Commerce
  • Data Cloud — Data 360 (rebranded October 14, 2025)
  • Agentforce Supply Chain (formerly Regrello) — Agentforce Operations

A few quick clarifications, because the naming has layers:

  • Data Cloud → Data 360 actually happened back on October 14, 2025, but you'll still see "Data Cloud" referenced in plenty of screens and docs during the transition.
  • Agentforce Supply Chain started life as a Salesforce acquisition called Regrello, briefly became Agentforce Supply Chain, and is now Agentforce Operations. Three names, one product — so expect to see all three floating around for a while.

Why Salesforce is doing this

The Summer '26 release is built around what Salesforce calls the Agentic Enterprise — the idea that humans and AI agents collaborate across every business function to boost productivity and growth.

Renaming the clouds reinforces that message. Instead of "Sales Cloud, now with some AI," the positioning becomes "Agentforce Sales — an AI-agent-native sales platform." The functionality you rely on hasn't been taken away; it's being reframed around agents.

The honest takeaway: the names changed more than the underlying products did. Your existing automations, data, and configurations keep working. But the direction of travel is unmistakable — Salesforce wants agents in the middle of every workflow.

What this means for you

If you're an admin

  • Expect mixed naming for a while. Salesforce has openly acknowledged that you'll still see "Sales Cloud," "Service Cloud," "Commerce," and "Data Cloud" in applications and documentation during the transition. Don't treat a leftover old name as a bug.
  • Update your internal docs and training gradually. There's no need to rip everything out overnight, but new runbooks and onboarding material should use the new names so your team isn't confused six months from now.
  • Nothing breaks because of the rename itself. API names, object names, and existing metadata are not affected by branding changes.

If you're an end user

You'll mostly notice new labels and a stronger AI presence in the UI. The screens you use every day still do what they did before.

If you're a developer or architect

Branding changes don't rewrite the platform. But the rebrand is a strong signal about where to invest your learning time: Agentforce, Agent Script, and the new agent tooling are clearly the strategic center of gravity. (More on that in our Agentforce platform guide.)

Frequently asked questions

Did Sales Cloud get discontinued? No. Sales Cloud was renamed to Agentforce Sales. It's the same product with a new name and a heavier emphasis on AI agents.

Is Data 360 the same as Data Cloud? Yes. Data Cloud was rebranded to Data 360 on October 14, 2025. The functionality and content remained unchanged; only the name is different.

Do I need to change my code or integrations? No. The rebrand is a naming and positioning change. Your APIs, objects, and existing integrations continue to work.

Why does my org still say "Service Cloud" in some places? Salesforce rolls out branding changes gradually. During the transition, older names appear in some applications and documentation. This is expected.

What is Agentforce Operations? It's the new name for Agentforce Supply Chain, which was originally the acquired product Regrello. It handles workflow automation and operational processes.

The bottom line

Summer '26's rebrand is the clearest statement Salesforce has made about its future: every cloud is now an Agentforce cloud. The practical impact on day one is small — new names, same products — but it's worth understanding, because it tells you exactly where the platform is headed.
